You Get Nothing!

The Picks Factory Ceiling

Yes, the domain you probably didn’t notice on your phone screen is indeed new and official. Look at us. This is an unofficial announcement that we, the Friendship Parlay Tribune, have a website. And you’re visiting it. Let’s go rob some sportsbooks.

I can already hear the haters asking why I don’t post my full card. I’m fucking working on it, chill. The FSP Tribune is still in its infancy and this is the first week we actually have a real domain. The card is fluid so I’m working on some solutions to getting all the additions out as they come in. Maybe I’ll tweet them. You can now email me your thoughts on how bad of a gambler I am. You can also follow me on twitter and tweet at me about how bad of a gambler I am. If I did it right, the links to these profiles are located at the bottom of the page.

Lot of noise out there complaining about how there’s no good games this weekend. It’s true, we’re transitioning from a martini of heavy football garnished with hoops and hockey now to a sangria consisting of all three. The switch is never easy but you’ve just gotta be thankful for what the sports gods give you and cherish the football games we have left. Since we’ve got limited college football games this weekend, we’ll be mainly targeting the NFL but also dipping our toes into NBA, NCAAB and my secret lover, the NHL.

If you whine about the slate, the ghost of Gene Wilder is going to come to your house, unplug your internet and cable, and you’re gonna be tricked into falling in love with a customer service tech who lives in Delhi while you’re on the phone with her waiting for the internet to get fixed.

Last Week

Rusty’s Picks 6-4 (+2.24u)

Full Card 10-4 (36.44u)

Great week last week. I’ll take 6-4 all day. Made a little money and our losers were at the bottom of the card. That’s how it’s supposed to be.

Speaking of the full card, the biggest boost was hitting a CFB Friendship Parlay which consisted of SMU TT o29.5, ORE -3.5, UGA 1H u24.5, and ASU TT o24.5. Shout out Dirty, Mike, and Oz. Also shout out to Illini in the Lou co-host, Dewey, for sweating it out with me till midnight on east coast time. Oz also cashed his Pony Play of the Week (PPOTW) which I always blindly tail. The bonehead parlay (his words, not mine) for the PPOTW was SMU TT o29.5 and Jennings ATD. The SMU game was one of the toughest sweats we’ve seen this season and possibly in the history of the FSP. Oregon almost pissing away their game just added to it. As Dabo paraphrased postgame, “So you’re tellin me there’s a chance?!” I’ll also go on record saying I’m happy they put the Ponies in over the Tide.

This Week

Let’s get to it. As always, picks are ranked by level of confidence. 10 being not so confident and 1 being the lock of the week. I also sprinkled in a golden ticket and a couple futures I like. It’s Army/Navy game weekend so I plan to find a nasty little pub to rip through some creamers while I watch.

Notable pending futures: SMU to win CFB CFP (+4500), Chiefs Super Bowl Champs /Georgia to win CFB CFP (+2180), PSU CFB CFP (+2200), Bengals to make the playoffs (+1100)

Golden Ticket Play of the Week: Udoh o71.5 Rushing Yards (Army/Navy)

10. Saints +7.5 vs. Commanders

9. Miles Bridges u16.5 Points

8. South Alabama -8

7. SDST +9.5 @ Colorado

6. Bengals @ Titans u46
